We get involved with your project to ensuring a trouble free installation. We have solutions, and alternatives. We offer value added engineering drawings and guide, direct and simplify the process of integrating switchable privacy glass into your project.

The average lifespan of LC Privacy Glass is 15 years. If left in a transparent mode (on) more often, the lifespan will be shortened.

We offer a smart tech package that will automatically turn the glass to off mode after closing hours, or at your discretion. This significantly preserves and extends the life of the the glass.

We offer a 5 year warranty on our privacy glass technology. If the technology fails within 5 years of installation and the glass no longer switches, we will replace the glass panel(s) for free

This does not include installation of the replacement panel. You must hire your own glazier to install the new panel(s). We do not warranty the installation.

We provide a 1 year warranty on our privacy film technology and labor (when we install). If we did not perform the installation, we can only warranty the product alone.

Multiple windows can be ganged onto one power supply to provide privacy across multiple windows or glass panels with a single click of remote or flip of a switch. A low voltage power supply is used to provide stepped down voltage. A dedicated circuit breaker is not necessary, but can be used for large smart glass installations.

Yes, you can install our film on your own, but it is strongly recommended you use one of our certified installers.

If you choose to install on your own, we cannot guarantee the quality of the application and installation. If performing your own installation, you can request we perform the necessary soldering before sending you your film.

In addition to potentially damaging the film from mishandling the product, when installing on your own, there is also the risk that the wiring routing may not come out as clean as you would have liked. When you use Innovative Glass partners to perform your installation, they work to conceal as much wiring as possible.

No. Our privacy film cannot be applied to an existing shower enclosure, and is not intended for exposure to water. If you require smart privacy functionality for your shower enclosure, we can produce custom glass panels with built in privacy technology to replace your existing shower enclosure panels, or for a new build.

Upon receipt of the completed purchase order, signed shop drawings, and deposit payment, lead times will usually run 6-8 weeks. This is a rule of thumb only, and lead time should be verified when order is placed.

LC Privacy Glass operates using 65 VAC which is provided by our step-down transformer.

Yes, the electric consumption is less than 0.5 Watt/sq. ft.
